Grant Fitzgerald Receives National ASFMRA Early Career Award

This national award, given annually by the ASFMRA, recognizes an outstanding “early career” member. This award recognizes members who are advancing in their career while making outstanding contributions to their local chapter(s), the ASFMRA, and their local communities.

Grant started with FNC in 2013 as a Farm Manager in Northeast Nebraska, today he is Vice President of Farm Management Operations and leads the department for Farmers National Company. Grant provides additional leadership within FNC in several ways, including being a member of the Long Range Plan committee and serving as the Chairperson of the Savings and Investment Plan committee.

He is also an active member of the ASFRMA as he served as the Chair of the Young Professional Network for seven years, providing career development opportunities for the youngest members of the organization. From 2020-2023 he also served on the Executive Council for the ASFMRA, setting direction for the entire membership. On a personal note, Grant is a School Board member for his local school district, is married to his wife Sam, and has two boys, Waylon and Wells!

Congratulations, Grant, on this well-deserved recognition. Thank you for your outstanding contributions and dedication to FNC, the ag industry, your community, and the ASFMRA.
